Great portrayal of these weary men Michael. I was interested to read about you because I was a wren in the Royal Navy based at RNAS Yeovilton in the 1960's. Great days!

Thanks Dorothy. It’s always nice to meet a sailor from the 60s and be aware of common experiences. My sailor friends always talk fondly of RNAS Yeovilton but I never served there myself. I was an Aircraft Handler. I started at Raleigh, went to Culdrose a couple of times and was at Brawdy in Pembrokeshire too. Flight deck party on the Victorious and the Albion at sea. I have enjoyed looking through your art in your galleries and I can imagine how much pleasure you will get from teaching it to people my age. Best wishes.
