This is really effective. Did you apply the washes and then decided what to draw?

Thanks Seth. You must have a go with Brusho. It’s crystals of watercolour/acrylic. Gives. A great effect. Plenty of demonstrations on YouTube. I sketched the figures outline and then applied the paint liberally.

Love the idea of this Michael.

Really intriguing piece, love it! Must look up Brusho!!! would love to use similar idea in my life drawing, if you've no objections???

Thanks Fiona and Thalia. Art, social science, and probably all the disciplines, evolve through copying others’ ideas. There not much original, it’s usually been done before by someone else so we should all copy away Thalia. You and Fiona have your own lovely styles. I’m a flagrant copier who uses everyone else’s styles and ideas.

A bold stroke Michael. Never tried Brusho although I've seen most of Joanna Boone Thomas's videos on Youtube.

This is so different and so effective too. Fabulous, Michael.

Really different Michael, love the colours.

Harrison Ford eh? You could get a job as a look alike, you'd make loads of dosh Michael. Seriously there are some great colours in this.

Thanks Margaret. I might have if I hadn’t been so shy and retiring.

A very attractive piece!

Watercolour and Brusho. A model at my life drawing class who mistook me for Harrison Ford and asked for my autograph. Even though I do look like Harrison Ford, afterwards I was ashamed because I had denied who I really was and realised my excessive pride in my appearance and abilities.
