Michael....that's so funny!!! I can't stop laughing......and how did you know that's exactly what I would say to a smooth talking dandy, but I have to admit, that look almost makes me feel sorry for him!lol I love the sound of the first prize, I have a small John Deere tractor but a large one sounds much more fun....and the pastels would come in very handy too. Mick you are so good at these intense and emotional portrait studies...great use of pastel and colour. I especially like the heavy black areas.

Thanks Fiona. You're worth it.

Wonderful portrait and story!

See you're influenced by Francis Bacon. Very bold Michael, reminiscent of a bad trip.

Thanks Gudrun, Margaret and Andre. I do seem to prefer the grotesque to the fine photograph look Andre.

Very expressive Michael. Can't understand the famous Fiona rejecting him he's gorgeous 💀😄

He is quite rough Carole but apparently some ladies like that. Obviously not Fiona.

These faces and descriptions are brilliant Michael. I can just hear our Fiona telling him to get lost and he certainly looks stunned. Disbelief etched on his handsome face. LOL

Pastel. She is later seen celebrating into the night with her fellow 'Galloway School' artists. Fiona was awarded first prize, a big green John Deere tractor and a life long supply of Sennelier soft pastels.
