Surrealism is destructive, but.....
Pastel, based on an Internet photograph. 'Surrealism is destructive, but it destroys only what it considers to be shackles limiting our vision' (S. Dali). One other similarity I have with Dali is his love of everything that is gilded and excessive and his passion for luxury and his love of oriental clothes, which he put down to Arab ancestry. However, I put mine down to my Irish ancestry and my direct DNA fingerprint back to the O'Conor, Kings of Ireland.
