Lovely painting Michael, beautiful light and washes.

He did a good job with you then Michael.

Initially I saw a lane with a pileup in the distance, then it all made sense. Smashing work Michael

Thanks John. Thanks Derek, yes it's a weakness, it's supposed to be stream with a waterfall. I'm pleased with the trees though.

very nice Michael I like your wet on dry pools of colour. Great palette.

Not a weakness Michael. My eyes most likely.

Thanks Carole. Your eyes are fine Derek!

Michael, this is gorgeous! I love the area of tree's on the right....that's special. The light on the tree's on opposite side is a perfect contrast and the fall of water. Your layered washes are so good. When I saw the thumb nail of this I thought it was one of Dennis Rounding's some of your work is so like his. I see you went for pastoral...lol

Lovely, soft colours Michael, super watercolour.

Thank you very much Margaret. Thank you too Fiona. You all make me feel so good about my progress. Yes Fiona, I took the less dynamic route today. I hope tomorrow will be more interesting.

Concur with other comments, a wonderfully painted scene.really well done.

Thanks for encouragement Andre.

Lovely work Michael, half expected one of your young ladies lying on the river bank lol. I really like Joe Hush's work, if I lived nearer I would go to his classes.

Thanks very much Stephen.

Something completely different. Fabulous washes. Peaceful, yet vibrant.

Lucky man being tutored by Joe Hush one of my favourite artists. Lovely work Michael, I like the wet on dry and the palette you've used.
