Now I like this Michael. You've got the majestic feel and I love all the different watery colours running into each other. I visited here for the first time in July, lovely weather, disappointing pub grub nearby.

Thanks Marjorie. I darkened the water too much and was about to give it up when I thought of soft white pastel, which worked a treat. The High Force Hotel I recall. That's a pity. And the nearest decent food would be quite a few miles away.

Very effective painting, Michael.

Yes, that's the one and we had to climb up all those steps to get there!

Been there, seen that. Really like this.

Thanks for your kindness Tony.

Very impressive scenery and very well executed, Michael. I love mixed media.

This is super Mick! Great choice of colours in the rocks with just the right amount of pen work to describe the splits and cracks. Using the white pastel has given the water that look of foam and spray.

Thanks Mia and Fiona. Some of the best effects I get are purely by chance, like this waterfall.
