You must have some very interesting neighbours Michael! As I scrolled down and before I saw your name I thought this was one was by Dennis Rounding......I love the over lay of washes Michael and that sky is super.

Thanks Fiona. I'm pleased with this one myself. I did have one of Dennis Roberts' skies in mind when I began it. I'm learning all the time. I'm joining the Deerness Art Group on 8th May and hope to improve further. Neighbours are fine as long as they stay inside and don't come visiting!

Watercolour. In contrast to Durham Cathedral and all those other lovely places, we have Durham Prison, Low Newton Remand Centre and Frankland High Security Prison. The latter is just behind the trees on the right here. They are on my back door but at least surrounded by lovely countryside.
