The Holy City

The Holy City

Excellent Michael, lovely mixing of colours. A scene reminiscent of a Bomberg. A great improvement being seen here. An exciting piece.

Like this Michael. Yes it look like it's in one piece.

Lovely painting, colours and view, Michael.

Fabulous colours and washes. I even recognise it. I went in the late 80s and it was a very interesting experience. I also went to the Euan Uglow Exhibition as I mentioned some time ago. The curator is a PhD student, and intern I think. It is absolutely amazing, very imaginative, and she will have done her career no harm at all. The Collection in Lincoln is where it is at, as it the BP Portrait Award, The Usher Gallery.

Thanks Gudrun. I'm pleased you enjoyed the Euan Uglow Exhibition. A far for me to go but I know I would have enjoyed it too. Durham City has no substantial art gallery where that level could be shown. I think the city council have missed a trick, again.

Thanks very much Margaret.
