That5's one strong colour Barrie ... eye catching!

Certainly eye catching, but for me it dominates too much.

I think the viaduct is too strong, it interferes with the rest of the scene which is well painted. Maybe keep your idea but definitely tone it down.

Oil on canvas. The viaduct is actually a yellowish stone, but is painted red to accentuate it and to complement the green foliage and grass. It makes the picture more exciting. What do you think?
