The actual flowers etc are so beautifully drawn, enabling your love choice of colours to used so effectively.

I genuinely can't thank you all enough for such lovely comments. I started this one back last Feb as an experiment and didn't like it so it got pushed aside. Came across it the other day when sorting some art stuff out and changed my mind about it and decided to finish it!

Homemade pearlescent paints. It's hard to capture the right picture for this piece as it looks different with different lighting and angles. I've specifically used dark pearlescent paints so in flat lights the piece looks very dark but when the light shines on it, it shimmers brightly.
