Cat by Kate Seddon

At first glance, I thought this was a linocut or woodcut, Kate. It has those same lovely bold lines and forms. I like the way you've placed the cat off to one side. It'd be more obvious to have him dead centre. Clever stuff, indeed. Lastly, did you scan or photo your image? Whichever, it's picked up different depths or intensity of colour really well.

Yes it does look like a linocut! That is a printing process I would really love to have a go at in the future. I scanned the original drawing on to my printer, and did a little bit of tweaking on the brightness/contrast with windows photo gallery.
