A beautiful detailed work

Tuning in after a while I see you're still busy and I like your paintings too. This one reminds me of a lino-cut (is that right?). I watched these birds in Italy flying back and forth to a large terracotta pot inside which they had made a nest. they accessed the nest via a small hole in the side. It was wonderful to watch. They use this pot every year and the owners of the house have made some little steps inside for the little birds to climb up and fly out when they are ready.

Did you use a dip pen for this or a brush? It's beautiful. Interesting bird.

Great acrylic work Karyl, lovely feathers, and love the outlining of the leaves as well

Keep playing they are working very well. Great picture.

Wonderful detailed drawing Karyl! An exotic looking bird but apparently they can be seen, though rarely, in the UK. A Hoopoe and a Kingfisher are on my wish list!

Another stunner, Karyl. Superb linework.
