This is a lovely painting. Very well done. I feel for you with regard to Jasper. I have a border terrier, Jazza, she is 5 months old. A lovelier dog you couldn't wish for. She is faithful, friendly, obedient and quick to learn (she makes us laugh). I am sure Jasper was very similar as I think it is a trait of the breed. It makes me tearful just to look at your painting it looks so much like Jazza. Jeannette

Hello Karolyn, beautiful work in a medium I just can't seem to get on with, prefer oils! We have a Parsons Jack Russell and I reckon you have just "twisted" my arm to try an animal portrait. My grand daughter has a Border Terrier named Treacle, because that's the colour she was when a puppy, so another subject maybe!
