Lovely work Karl , very fresh love it .Funny but I'm getting one of those electric bikes when I retire so I can get out in summer painting hopefully.

Thanks Dennis. I must admit to being quite envious of Andrew part from the fact that he really needs the bike. His was great complete with paniers etc.. certainly made it easy to cover some ground

Small but really well painted, you have captured a great pose Karl.

Lovely fresh work Karl, I can tell it is done 'on the spot'. The figures posture is really good and relaxed.

I like your use of edges. I feel as though I am there with you.

Very pleased you should be Karl, it is smashing. Were you at the Wapping at Winchester show early Dec. If so sorry I missed you.

This is delicious! Just the right amount of brush strokes.

Thanks for the kind comments. Derek Im afraid I didn&#39;t participate in the Wapping Winchester Show last year so alas would have missed you. I will be doing heir Annual Show at Mall Galleries later in year. Maybe Ill see you there. all best Karl<br />

Great painting and the way you describe it shows that sometimes the quick ones are the best. Lovely work Karl!

A lovely painting Karl. I really like the restrained use of colour that gives a wonderful harmony to the painting.

Your painting is as casual as the pose....terrific work!

Full of atmosphere Karl.

SO good.

A small sketch of a friend of mine painting in Le croisic in Brittany last summer. What a great place! We had a great painting holiday with the Wapping Group and friends. Mike Richardson organised a trip every year and this painting although the quickest and smallest that I did was the one I was most pleased with
