Forgotten People
The “Forgotten People” is a gift for a person of unlimited kindness, patience, love, nobility, and unconditional love: Russia’s charity doctor Elizaveta Glinka, known as Doctor Liza, a member of the Russian Presidential Council for Development of Civil Society and Human Rights. It is needless to mention about all her flights and rides to the epidemic centers for organizing the transporting orphans and elderly to medical centers and shelters to receive free help. I was honored to meet her while she visited our region, Goris, during the war. At the time I had my painting, the “Visit”, on the wall in my house. Sometime later she mentioned that she really liked the painting that was hung on the wall by the door. Well, how may I express my deep respect, what kind of gift can express the appreciation of what she does for so many needy and forgotten people? Here is my painting with her favorite lady.
