Agree with George (and our late tortoise, Oswald, who succumbed to the English weather long ago) that dandelions are underrated, in art and by gardeners. Alkanet - doesn't that leave weals on the hands and arms of some people? We have a lot of it around here - lovely intense blue, but I'm wary of it. Happy to see it safely displayed in your painting.
