You're so right about going back to visit your sketchbook - don't know about you, but I find that I see the sketches in a new light when I've neglected them for a few years, and they give me ideas for paintings I may not have had at the time. Love that corrugated iron roof, and again, your textures and warm colours.

Very impressed with composition and that nothing is complete in its own right..stronf foreground and cottage so well painted.

I like this, especially the corrugated roof

The various shades of white are used very tellingly. Altogether a highly evocative little painting.
