This is absolutely stunning Karen – in my opinion a perfect watercolour: great colour scheme, loose style, small shapes form a consistent picture. Furthermore very expressive!

I was really struck by the knowing look in this beautiful European Brown Bear's eyes. Very grateful thanks for the ref image goes to Steven Jberkowitz. I wanted to get brave with my mark making again and to get lots of expressive brushstrokes into this painting.
