Whilst removing plants from the greenhouse in order to clean it, I was struck by the gorgeous colours of some un-ripened tomatoes. These black ones look ripe, but are not and there weren’t enough to make chutney. Drawing them in coloured pencil seemed like a better option. I used Inktense pencils which are really solid inks.
