Whence comes one of my favourite wines. Could it be that you are a better painter than photographer? Is this a little fuzzy? Colours work very well together.

Definitely! I can photograph scenery ver well, but photograph my paintings???? I am hopeless,I've tried a few ways I will have to set up a tripod I think. Also a lot of distortion from the flash. I have sold this painting,so I guess it worked. Thanks for your feedback Robert' My husband is from Tuscany!

There is almost always some distortion but try just cropping i, and use the "straightener" tool. The painting works really well, I like the subtle colours, good recession and composition is enhanced by the fence.

Hi Sylvia, Thanks for the comments on my work ! Didn't know I had a straightener tool, will have to have another look. I can't adjust this one though it's now on disc and read only.

Have you tried using natural light rather than flash (switched off), carefully centring picture as you take it. Then download to computer, crop to edges, balance contrast and tones, and sharpen/straighten if necessary? I can do these thing with my digital camera and MacBook, and it means I have a good record of my pictures. Hope that might be helpful, because the pictures look lovely.

I have a new camera which is easier to swith off flash,I do centre as well as I can,I can edit after download, but don't seem to have a straightening tool in my Microsoft Picture Manager, or A C D See photoshop. Too late for this picture,as it's been sold. Thanks for your helpful input,Shirley
