Deansgate Close Up

Amazing how much detail can be suggested by a few simple brushstrokes. The lady with the yellow coat is just brilliant as, although you don't define it, I know exactly what the expression on her face is. Great work.

I like 'Deansgate' but you are right, this is even better, lots of life and rich colours.

I think a lot of us probably feel that a cropped painting works better so it's probably best not to try it.! It's good for us to see the detail properly here though and the movement in the figures, especially the lady in the dark glasses is wonderful.
