yes we all know this scene way to well Joseph, beautifully captured again

Whenever I see your work Joseph I feel inclined to pick up my paint brushes. Too late now, but I'm already thinking about tomorrow's painting! Such good movement, colour and reflections here.

Thanks Ross and thanks Louise. Hope you have a nice painting session today Louise :-)

Two great strong paintings. Your depiction of rainy streets is wonderful.

I've just read your comment under Kims. You're dead right about me and how I work !

I don't actually use facebook myself Joseph. Somebody else has set it up for me in order to show my paintings! I'm not really in to social networking as it's called. My computer skills aren't good and really it's about time I learned :)

Hi Joseph again! I've just read your facebook message and want to say that I agree with what you said about my work. I do like to experiment and it doesn't always work. Some are most certainly iffy and some are pretty good! You should see my disasters that end in the bin. I've just attempted to paint over a failed street scene and turn it in to a snowy street with white gouache. Too late I realised that there wouldn't be leaves on my trees in winter as are in the painting!. I'm always pleased to hear your comments and actually sometimes wish that more honest opinions were given here. If no one comments quickly I think that the painting must be just too bad and often delete sadly hoping that no one noticed. LOL. Look forward to seeing more of your paintings and perhaps I'll start socially networking before people think I'm bad mannered! That facebook page is working though. I've just sold one that way.

I hope that you don't think me very rude not answering your facebook message Joseph, but as I said, facebook messages don't come direct to me, but to the lady that set up the site for me. She forwards any inquires about my paintings on to me. I've been quiet because of the technical problems with pol which now seem to have been sorted out at last! Looking forward to seeing more of your work here now!

A lovely, spontaneous piece, Joseph.

Sorry about that 'Towards Castlefield' one that you said you were interested in. I'd thought you were joking. Part of me thinks that you were! It went to another painters online user.

Thanks for the paper info Joseph. I started buying 535gsm (250lbs) which is so thick, but saves me all that stretching especially for larger paintings. I'll look up Ken Bromley as my usual supplier has run out of the heavy type. Not many art shops around here these days either!
