Two super sketches here Joseph. This one appeals to me because of the confident marks made quickly I'm guessing, with ink and brush.

Good lively sketch Joseph, I suppose the unwieldy nature of the brush leads to a loose approach. I have a book of Edward Seagos work, with some brush and ink sketches included. perhaps that led to his loose, fresh paintings?
