Here is your lovely little son looking extra cute in this outfit, great touch adding him holding that little galleon, gorgeous painting of his face in this one Joris

I like the idea and you have used the colours very well and there is some depth in the painting in the background. Maybe think about proportions ie head to body size. Having said that this does have a certain appeal. Keep them coming!
