And another! How is this even possible? Your sea is alive and coming straight at us.... do you paint en plein air? How else could you achieve something like this .... and yet, perhaps you didn't because the sheer amount of work, and in acrylic, must have taken hours. I'm going to have to study this and practise until my brushes wear out....

Absolutely stunning, Jo! The realism you have achieved is remarkable. A magnificent painting!

'How Is this done?' asks Robert somewhat rhetorically? Superlative talent and technical expertise is the answer. Realism is somewhat frowned upon by some on this site but these two paintings are absolutely breathtaking and should be admired by all. I've just returned from a week in Anglesey having spent many hours on the beautiful Newborough Beach, staring at the sea and the spectacular light reflecting upon it, and wondering how on earth I can capture its many facets on canvas. I don't think I'll bother for the time being!! Jo I congratulate you on these two seascapes, they are exceptional .

Jo your paintings are wonderful how do you do it, wish I could paint like that

I would like to add to the previous comments but it has all been said.
Totally agree with Russell Edwards.
I love and admire 'realism', the skill and dedication in works like these never cease to amaze me.

Wow Jo these are fantastic, I am in awe, so cleverly painted.

This sort of realism is not my thing but these are amazing

Wow. So glad that realism is back to tell of beauty without needing a two-page waffle of big words.

Two absolutely stunning postings Jo!

Extremely good and beautiful to look at. A lesson in what acrylics can do in the right hands.

Totally agree with all the above comments. What size are they?
