South Bank Stroll II

Super trio of paintings Jo. Particularly love the various shadow-shapes in this one and the way they fan out and lead the eye in. The figures are very well done, in the bright light just enough detail within the washed out colours to tickle the curiosity and invite another look. The square format also adds an extra dimension.

Lovely work Jo, as Sharon has said the figures are very well painted and the angles of the shadows seem about right (always tricky).

Terrific compositions and super light, love all three paintings. I remember years ago being told off for painting in a square format!!

Softer shadows this time which work wonderfully well in this scene.
