Would make an excellent Christmas card - gosh you are starting early. I am usually scrubbing about at the last minute! It is a super very jolly image - one to make the viewer feel happy.

Love it Julie, as you said it will make a great Christmas card. Your gelli plate experimenting is obviously providing the inspiration for some lovely bird themed work!

More sketch book play. I collaged together bits of prints made on the Gelli plate and then painted and printed the blackbird. Decided it might make a good Christmas card so added some festive touches!
