Jonathan Tamblyn

Biography

I am an amateur artist from Cornwall. We have a farm here, so my art tends to follow the seasons a bit, in the winter l get a chance to paint, but in the summer at harvest time, there’s no chance! I have always loved painting since l was a boy, but it’s only over the last couple of years that l have really started to paint, seriously. I paint mainly in acrylics, because l like their speed of drying, but l plan to work with oils soon. Portraits and still life are my main thing, but l have just started trying a few landscapes recently.
