Painted a few years ago in acrylics. Having just turned 50, coping with a divorce, selling my lovely 16th century cottage and mum dying, it was not my best year. I had always liked Van Gogh’s style and at that moment I felt a kinship with the portrait of Vincent during his last troubled years. Suffice to say, I am fine and much happier now. Must be as I seem to be constantly painting! :) Interesting to look back though now after many years.
