you mention Fairies! totally get that feeling with this painting, fanciful, dreamy, mystical fairy dust feeling :-) you have really captured the feeling you get when you look up to see the canopy of trees :-) really mystifying :-) your months of very hard work on this has really paid off :-)

Jo, Very effective, shows a lot of work and detail. It is such a soft look, how do you achieve it with oil, which I would put on a lot thicker. I like the light and translucenty, very zen like, which is what I am trying to get into.

When a painting doesn't have a personality, it never seems to work - so though one struggles with the little horrors sometimes, I'd rather have the struggle than not.
