This handsome young man is my son James. I drew this portrait of him as a birthday present. I never know what to get him so I thought this would make a nice surprise Faber Castell Polychromos and Caran D'ache Pablo pencils on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper 10" x 12"

I mainly use coloured pencils pencils at the moment. They're wonderful for detailed work. I use Faber-Castell Polychromos with the addition of Derwent Lightfast, Caran D'Ache Luminance and Pablos.
