Immediate first impression is how good the back lighting is, and the way you have handled the rays of sunlight filtering down through the trees. The painting is full of atmosphere, peaceful, nothing jarring, and a good palette of harmonious colours. The path invites the viewer to walk through the painting and off into the distance. A very pleasing composition

Painted in acrylic on board size 30cm x 30cm. Another local common only about 2 miles from my home. Also painted a few months ago.
