Very good painting but I thin k you should have moved to the side a bit so the steeple didn't look such a good fit on the house roof

Thank you John for your comment.I agree the steeple does look rather odd. I copied the image to my PC's paint program and repositioned the steeple. It looked much better. While I was at it I straightened the chimney pot too. Soon I will return to my original painting and redo the sky and paint the steeple in its new position. I find my PC great for experimenting with composition !
