thanks Carole, I've done 4 different painting of wingfield manor it is a lovely subject to paint, and have sold 3 of them.

I missed this one John. Yes, very atmospheric, it's a great subject for atmosphere Wingfield Manor...if it's the one near Chesterfield. How about Riber Castle, another atmospheric ruin.

Yes Fiona, I live just over a mile away from wingfield and about 3miles from riber I've not painted riber but will give it a go at some time

Well done your sales John. I think I have spotted this from the road to Chesterfield but could not see it very well, looks worth a visit, by light of moon of course :)
