Steep HillCove IOW

I know this area well; the white monstrosity to the right has hardly improved it - but your painting manages to incorporate it into the scene to better effect than it appears in real life.

Thank you for your kind comments. To Robert I would say that the angle I chose was the only one that got everything in. Luckily this coincided with reducing the dominance of the modern building that any other position would have suffered from. As it was I had to take a number of staged photos to supplement my pencil sketches to reconstruct a view that got everything in. The mock lighthouse building really does hog the view of everyone on the beach or in the cafe etc at the other end. Thank you also Carole.
