Thank you for your compliments. Sadly Audrie and Roy are no longer with us now. Audrie encouraged me to exhibit my work years ago with hers at Southampton gallery. Since then many portraits later I still remember her and Roy, her husband for their humour and support. The painting was done to commemorate a holiday in Cornwall that my wife and I had with them. The beach we were on was very windy, hence the 'fun' element in the painting
