Three handed Knitting?

I think this is my favourite of your knitting paintings John - the expressive faces on all your paintings are really well done, plus the hands which I always find really difficult. Brilliant observation

Thank you for your comment. I had one critisism locally . This was that the black background did not match their wallpaper! My aim with all the knitting paintings and the orchestra ones was to create drama from actions of real people. Carravaggio did first it seems, but the comment brought me down to earth once more. Incidentally I started off finding hands to be difficult , and still do. However it pays to dive in, persist with observations and ignore one's fears!
