Lovely distinct style in this John - where will the exhibition be?

Love this. Very much like my grandma's house in Burnley!

Like this very much, John. So crisp and evocative, with a highly intelligent palette.

Really well painted urban scene. The one red sheet blowing in the wind really alters the whole scene. Excellent.

A very appealing image John.

Thank you all so much for your kind words -really appreciated! It started out as a drawing in 'my' style -lots of line work, no colour except the red, but it didn't look right until I gave in and added (for me) lots of colour... then it suddenly came together...more 'washing line' inspired pieces to follow!

I love the composition.

Looking forward to more washing lines as love this painting. Love the beautiful subtle colours on the building walls. Diana
