That's much more my sort of time-frame.... this is the beauty of oil, though; you can keep working on a painting and further layers will add richness, or can. Theoretically, the same is true of acrylic - but it never seems to work quite so well if one has to return to them.

Very good figures and composition works well. What is there to finish - you'll fiddle with it and spoil it!

A long time taken over this, started mid 2012 and finished late March 2013. Image taken from a photograph in the Moro Cookbook. I may carry on working on this after it returns from the framers. 20" x 30" approx
