St John the Baptist Church at Adel ~ sketch

Love the limited palette. It's a lovely sketch. I am mildly curious about the straightness of your lines - do you use a straight edge?

Amanda ~ I don't use a straight edge ... if you look carefully you will see that the lines "wiggle" I find that is more forgiving that straight lines and gives a little more character

Clever how you have left the sunny areas as white paper, the cast shadows stand out as a result. The shadow cast by the porch works very well.
