How do you start a painting like this? You must be a professional illustrator, if not you should be!!!!!!

Thanks for your kind comments Anne, I'm flattered. However ,although I've sold a few paintings (being in the right place at the right time when the Not the Turner Prize was running and my works were among the cheapest on show) and although I've approached scores of galleries and publishing houses and greeting card manufacturers and had an article in " Artist and Illustrator" I cannot find a regular market, so no, I'm not professional, but I'm working at it.

Thanks for the comment on the Great Dane Joe, as for Robert Bateman.... since i was a teenager he is one of my all time favourite artists EVER!!! ..... gosh you should be a psychic ...................................... Its depressing that someone with your undeniable illustrative talent struggles to find that reliable outlet for their work, But i'm sure there is a niche for you out there......i just hope you find it soon..................
