What a gorgeous duo Jo - such shiny coats and lovely eyes

I had a commission to draw a much-loved dog, from photographs - I found myself falling in love with him, I don't know how you deal with 'em when they've passed on and the photo is all we've got? Anyway, these are lovely - my dogs were mostly Alsatians/GSDs - but you have to love a Lab: just watch them closely when there's food on the table...not that GSDs are necessarily more trustworthy.... I still remember that ham hock ....
