I've tried drawing and painting him too, with mixed success; observed closely, the face betrays distinct signs of ageing; see him from even a slight distance, and a younger man emerges. Your drawings are usually brilliant, and this one presents a recognizable image - but is that eye not off a bit?

Like both portraits - so well done but I love the expression in this one.

Well, it is likely about the eye. Photos from the telly are usually of low quality and the deep shadow I just copied, couldn't work out the position of the eye.
