SELF PORTRAIT 2006

Lovely work Jiri and here you are at last, we can put a face to the name

Dear Ros, in the Oils section there's another self portrait of mine and from this year.I submitted it for the SKY Arts "Portrait of the year" competition and it got me to the finals,so last May we were in a tent on Trafalgar Sq painting well known people.My model was Robert Lindsay the actor and he decided to keep my portrait of himself.That was it,I did not get any further and seeing the quality of my competitors I did not expect to.

I don't have Sky, but a friend of mine is recording the programme so I am looking forward to seeing it. I bet Robert Lindsay was great to paint.
