Impressions of Portofino

The colours are lovely and rich which, I suspect reflects Portofine (never been). It's a difficult scene I think, but I think rather well captured.

Really nicely impressionistic and loose. Lovely vibrant colours which reflect the region perfectly.

Brings back pleasant memories of a trip there a couple of years ago. The dark greens emphasise the bright buildings ery well. Good effort at a difficult subject.

Thank you for your comments! Portofino icertainly is a colourful place so I tried to reflect that. . I do tend to use fairly vibrant colours in my watercolours. I'm glad it looks fairly loose - I would have made it easier for myself if I had painted it larger!.
