Well done. I can actually smell these flowers from here!

Thank you for your kind comments. I don't think it has reproduced from my camera very well. The colours are not true to the original. If anyone has any tips about the best way of photograph paintings, I would be very grateful.

Not easy.. especially if you're very short-sighted as I am, and can't actually see through the viewfinder... The way I photograph mine, using an Olympus digital, is to take them outside, lay them flat on the courtyard, hold the camera as square on to them as I can, press, and hope. Strangely, it normally works reasonably well. The important thing is to get real daylight on them: there always seems to be a degree of distortion whenever I photograph them indoors, even in broad daylight.

Thank you Robert for your advice.

How funny, I find your gallery by accident and leave a message on the roses then discover this one has got Painting of the month. I didn't see it when you posted it. Well done. Let's have more.
