Watercolour, measuring 31cm x 41cm, of snow-laden trees on a winter road. I used masking fluid, salt and my favourite snow shadow mix of cerulean blue and alizarin crimson to create the wintry effects.

Jessica Rose
I am a painter and printmaker. I use watercolours and oils and also make hand-pulled prints using linocut and etching. I love cats and they crop up in a lot of my work. I have exhibited with the Society of Women Artists at the Mall Galleries in London and the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists.
