Another painting from a series commissioned by Syon House, a stately home in Brentford. The tranquil grounds feature this beautiful lake. The swan always seems to be on its own, sadly, whenever I have gone there to paint.

Jessica Rose
I am a painter and printmaker. I use watercolours and oils and also make hand-pulled prints using linocut and etching. I love cats and they crop up in a lot of my work. I have exhibited with the Society of Women Artists at the Mall Galleries in London and the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists.
