This is one of a series of paintings commissioned by a stately home in Brentford. I particularly like this view of the east side of the house, viewed from the Kew side of the Thames. I painted it on a lovely sunny summer's day after cycling to the spot with my bike loaded down with easel and paints etc.

Jessica Rose
I am a painter and printmaker. I use watercolours and oils and also make hand-pulled prints using linocut and etching. I love cats and they crop up in a lot of my work. I have exhibited with the Society of Women Artists at the Mall Galleries in London and the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists.
