This watercolour is one of a series of paintings commissioned by Syon House, a stately home in Brentford. The grounds of the house contain many interesting trees, including this Taxodium which has wonderful knobbly roots that push up through the ground.
About the Artist
Jessica Rose
I am a painter and printmaker. I use watercolours and oils and also make hand-pulled prints using linocut and etching. I love cats and they crop up in a lot of my work. I have exhibited with the Society of Women Artists at the Mall Galleries in London and the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists.
